The best way to keep track of your business quantitatively is through statistics.

These give you a clear picture of the direction your business is going in. This is because you can clearly analyse them and see trends and patterns.

The start of each quarter is a good time to record and analyse your stats but some people like to do every month. Below I’ve listed a few different ways you can record your stats, these are in no way exhaustive.

  • Followers/Page Likes/Connections

  • Hashtag research
  • Best posting times
  • Reel views
  • Retweets

Lead gen

  • Number of new leads per week/month
  • Where those leads are coming from
  • How many convert

Market research

  • Split testing
  • Most sold offers 
  • Most interest

Money

  • Expenses
  • Income
  • Profit

Don’t forget though, stats aren’t the only thing that matters! How you feel in your business, whether you’re overwhelmed or enjoying it is really important too. Don’t get caught up in numbers, they’re not the only thing that matters.
