What are you doing to set yourself up for success?
What are you doing today, this week, this month, and this year?
How can you make sure you’re getting the most out of the time that you have?
These are all important questions and I’m going to give you a rundown of what I’m doing so that maybe you can get some ideas for yourself!
Today I am creating to-do lists so that I get all my tasks done, I am giving myself scheduled breaks, I am lying my workout clothes out the day before so that there’s less effort between me and exercise, I am going out of the house on a walk every day to get that sweet sweet air, I track my habits and mood daily to stay aware, I also journal almost every day, I read some of a book every day too, and I make sure to fuel my body with 3 meals a day and snacks.
Over the week I will ensure that my social media posts are created and scheduled in advance, I have planned out my bullet journal for the whole week so I know what’s going on, I track my finances each week to insure I know what’s going in and out, and I meal plan and shop at the beginning of the week so that I don’t have to thank about food each day.
In a month I make sure I’ve cleaned the whole house at least once (generally not all in one go, I like to take a room at a time, less overwhelming), I ensure I have time with close friends and family scheduled in, I make sure I have time with nothing scheduled to recharge, I invoice at the end of the month and check in with my finances overall.
For the year the best thing I do is set myself a word of the year and give myself New Year’s resolutions. I like to set a few new ones as well as keep ones that have changed my life over the years – see here for an article on my New Year’s resolutions this year!
