Tools And Resources

When a client comes to me looking to work together I’m often the first person that they have “hired”. What this means is that they’re often at the start of their business journey, or the start of taking it seriously, or they’ve recently started to get busier.

This is not always the case but more often than not it is. There’s something really lovely about being the first person to work with someone on their business. For a long time they’ve only ever had themselves and now there’s someone else they can lean on.

It’s invaluable to be able to toss ideas around with someone or just have someone say they understand and really know they do. 

When I start working with someone the first thing I like to do is look at the processes that they have set up around the areas they’re looking for help in. These areas are most commonly:

• Content creation
• Finance
• Sales and marketing
• Organisation

I find that the more you can systemise and create processes the easier the work becomes. 

So what I have gathered over the last few years is some tools and resources that I can share with clients to help them create those systems and processes.

Social media planner spreadsheet

This has tabs for each month for each social platform. It also has somewhere to record all content for repurposing. 

Finance manager spreadsheet

This is used to record all your income and expenses. It also gives data about income and estimates tax too.

Invoice template

This is exactly what it says on the box, just a template you can edit to use.

Timesheet template

Here you can put in your hourly rate and then just add how much time you’ve done and it’ll automatically work out how much you need to invoice for.

Client agreement form template

A google form that give an outline of a client agreement allowing you to replace the information boxes with relevant ones for your business.
